Designing an app to aide in behavior change based on 3 pillars: social accountability, externality realization in the form of monetary wagers, and constant reminders. With these three packaged mechanisms, Pavlov can offer behavior change in a complete way that has never been done before.
Design included preparing 3 separate brand identities for critique and feedback. Additionally, we had to design for desktop as well as mobile breakpoints. I chose to design mobile first, as global internet traffic is trending heavily towards mobile over any other form.
Each iteration was grounded in the same goals I started with: to allow people to become who they’ve always wanted to be. Three separate rounds of thorough usability testing (with demographic subjects and best practice interview procedures) were performed throughout the entirety of this project. The project was presented and critiqued by fellow designers on two formal occasions.
The Pavlov design project culminated in a single presentation to peers and a panel of UX industry experts for one final critique.
